At NORVEI, we take pride in our meticulous jewellery-making processes. We ensure that each piece we create promises top-tier quality and long-lasting durability at an affordable price. Here’s an in-depth look at how we achieve this.

Necklaces, Pendants & Bracelets

Starting with a high-quality 316L stainless steel foundation known for its unrivalled strength and resistance to corrosion, we use a meticulous process called Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) to apply 18K or 14K real gold*. This careful method guarantees a gold layer thickness of 0.03μ, keeping the gold colour from tarnishing for at least two years whilst making sure our jewellery is hypoallergenic.

Please note: most of our silver products are made using premium 316L stainless steel.

NORVEI’s Multilayer Plating Processing Steps

Base Material:

316L stainless steel.

Gold Plating:

A gold layer (18K/14K) is applied, coating the jewellery for a luxurious and lasting finish.

Top Coat:

A protective top coat is added to seal and protect the gold layer.

Earrings & Huggies

Due to the high temperature of PVD plating, PVD can’t be applied to brass or silver, which are our chosen base materials for our earrings. Instead, we use another process called Water plating, also known as electroplating. This method involves immersing the brass/silver base in a solution containing metal ions, which is then exposed to an electrical current that causes the metal ions to stick to the base metal.

Electroplating is a rigorous and careful method. Not only does it enhance the visual appeal of our jewellery, but it also improves longevity and ensures our products won’t cause green stains on the skin.

NORVEI’s Electroplating Process

Preparation:

Our chosen base metal is thoroughly cleaned, removing any impurities that might affect the plating process.

Electroplating:

With all impurities removed, the cleaned base is submerged in a solution containing metal ions. An electrical current is then applied, causing the metal ion to stick evenly to the base metal. This step is repeated five times to ensure a thick, even coating.

Last Layer:

The final water-plated layer is polished and inspected for quality concerns.

5A Zircon For Premium Clarity

Renowned for its brilliance and exceptional clarity, 5A Zircon gemstones are ideal alternatives to diamonds. Despite being synthetic, 5A Zircon is remarkably durable and perfect for everyday wear. Being lab-created also eliminates any ethical concerns often associated with diamond jewellery.

One significant advantage of 5A Zircon is its affordability, which allows us to offer premium pieces at accessible prices.

Our Promise Is In Quality & Durability

Every piece of jewellery NORVEI makes undergoes many stages and steps to ensure our commitment to nothing but excellence is achieved. We take pride in fine craftsmanship and believe meticulous methods are the only way to guarantee quality. Whether it’s multilayer PVD plating on our necklaces and bracelets or Electroplating our earrings five times, each process is chosen to provide jewellery that stands the test of time whilst making you feel confident.

NORVEI’S promise is our dedication to deliver premium jewellery that combines style, resilience and strength.
